Campo Santo


Campo Santo is looking for a Technical Artist.

Campo Santo is seeking an experienced technical artist to oversee and implement all realtime VFX needs for our next video game developed in Unity.

The ideal candidate is able to start from concept art and reference materials, determine the appropriate implementation, and break down that implementation into actionable component parts, including particle effects, shaders, and identifying necessary art assets. This team member will also be responsible for authoring and supporting artist-friendly tools for quick iteration towards a high visual quality bar.


  • Experience with shipping a cross-platform title in Unity
  • Experience in writing custom shaders in a PBR pipeline
  • Experience with lighting
  • Familiarity with character rigging
  • Familiarity with cloth simulation or pre-baked simulation pipelines
This is a full-time salaried position. Expect competitive salaries, profit sharing, normal hours, plenty of vacation, health/dental/vision, and a growing list of benefits. Our studio is based in San Francisco, CA, and we prefer if you are local or willing to relocate.
